Other posters have tried to start dinner threads and they always get whacked. It sucks, bc the LNST is too late for the East coast. Maybe we could petition for it...

No, sorry. There are enough IM threads. Three times a day is enough. It already bleeds over into legit threads too, people hardlegging and wetlegging. Fr33 tried some Late Late Night thread and got banned.

If this is the hill we’re choosing to die on, then a few things need to be standard. Mainly that spinoff threads and response threads need to be deleted, as those thoughts can be consolidated inside their parent thread, correct? Have you been to the score board during game time? Those idiots start a new thread for ever single thought they have, thread titles that are clearly just post fodder for the in game thread that’s happening, but it moves too fast for them to get the attention they think they deserve, and no one is in there whacking those ten response threads. The IM threads are the only actually off topic threads because the conversations shift focus all day, never stopping to stay ON topic, and well isn’t that the name of the whole board?
Heaven forbid that you miss out on one more serial killer or pj predicts the weather thread for an LNST that starts at 9:30 in stead of ten thirty when people are actually still up and you know... snacking.
Also, there usually aren’t lunch threads on the weekends, so had she named it the late Saturday lunch thread would it have been okay with you?
Seems silly.
