Bywater Bakery has some pretty unique flavors--including savory (e.g. Boudin, Crawfish, Spinach & Artichoke). Of their sweet flavors, my personal favorite is the Sweet Potato, which is excellent.

Bywater Bakery really has great kingcakes (live 2 blocks over, so we go there regularly). Also, a nice place to get a good, cheap, weekend breakfast.
