I looked on the interwebs and the reviews of the Trail NP were pretty mixed. Biggest knocks were accuracy. I'm assuming that some just didn't find the right ammo for that gun. But it was a consistent gripe.

I have a Crosman Nitro Venom in .22. It’s very similar to the Trail NP. After break in it has been consistently accurate with the 14.3 gr Crosman Premier hollow points. Very solid air rifle.

I also have a Hatsan 125 Sniper Vortex .22. That thing is a slugger. Most powerful break barrel I’ve ever used. Also very consistent with accuracy. My only complaint is that it’s heavy. Very heavy.
