how do you like the XJL?
LOVE it. I really didn’t like them when I used to see them on the street, and one day while we were out of town we went to test drive an XF S just because we were bored and there was a dealer near our hotel. Checked out the XJL they had on the lot and fell inmlove with it. Looked at the A8 and the 7 series before buying, but the interior of the Jag just blew away the Audi and BMW. It has very good power and handles like a much smaller car. Handling feels tighter than my kid’s Mustang, which is amazing for such a big car. We’ve done a lot of traveling the past few years for my kid’s tournaments, and it makes traveling a joy rather than a chore. And my bad back loves those heated seat massagers. Stereo system is fantastic also. Oil changes are expensive (over $200), but it only needs it once/year or every 16,000 miles. Beautiful car and we’ve had no major issues with it.
ETA: May consider an F-type when I go back to a sports car. My wife’s cousin let me drive her F-type R, and the power in that thing was downright scary.
