I went awhile back. I stayed around the house of blues area and loved it. I encourage you to walk around as much as possible. I really enjoyed just walking for miles and taking it all in.
I also highly recommend Swift & Sons Steakhouse. It’s a subway ride away from the area I was staying, but it was first rate. Get the old fashioned and the filet. The building itself is actually an old slaughterhouse in the meat packing district.
I went to Harry Caray’s and it was pretty good I guess. Kind of touristy, but food was ok and reasonably priced.
Definitely make a stop at Lou Malnati’s for a deep dish pizza.
Sorry food and walking around sightseeing is most of what I did there in addition to cubs games
