re: Flying Squirrels in the South

When we were trapping them and selling them in school ....... when we would get the mean one that always wanted to bite we would take a nail and heat it up just hot enough to hurt, when it would try to bite we would let it bite the hot nail, only took once and they would not bite again. I know that it sounds cruel on the face but the nail was not that hot and they always ate and drank the next day so no harm done.
