I then stated how injury history can hurt a player's career longevity and chances at large long term contracts.

one isolated injury is not going to affect someone getting a long term deal if they play well on their rookie contract without any injury problems. that's just silly. If said player had multiple injuries throughout his career, sure make that argument. And if that had been the case, he wouldn't have been drafted as high as he was either.

Yeah, it is.

No, it's not

Again, just admit you were ignorant to what the signing bonus slots were/are. You're now crawfishing hoping your initial argument still holds up. Had Beckwith fallen to the 3rd day of the draft or had he been a lock for a top 20 pick, then yes we could have this talk. He lost very little in the grand scheme, even with the injury he sustained.

WTF are you talking about ?

$750k is $200k more than his entire paycheck in 2018 and more than he's slated to make in 2019.

I can't believe I'm having to argue that $750k is a lot of money.
