Jerry Tillery
Honestly LSU never really had a shot at Tillery. He liked LSU and had friends on the team, but wanted to play at Notre Dame since his childhood. He committed in 2013 after his Soph. year in HS, and never wavered. Tillery was recruited as an OT (6' 6" 315) and changed positions to DL in order to help the team.
I respect JT as he didn't play games on social media during his recruitment and was honest with LSU's coaching staff. This past season he decided to come back for his Senior year at ND and will get paid well to play on Sundays. LSU definitely could have used Tillery the last 4-5 years; however, I can't fault the kid for deciding what was best for himself.

I like Tillery, too...he's different than the others.
But we definitely had a shot...LSU always at least has a shot with in state prospects. And I do memeber him wanting to play DL coming out, but LSU's offer was at OT (cause we can't land OT's at all).

He handled himself very well and is a class act. You just have to respect a kid that handles their business with that level of maturity and tip your cap to them.
