I can’t say whether Expeditions are better or not. A ‘16/‘17 Expedition XLT is $30k or $10k less than a Tahoe. Is there that big of a difference between the two?

The Expedition and Armada are better values as a used vehicle than their competitors. They are not better vehicles.
For whatever reason, the good deals on used Tahoes and Suburbans are more difficult to find. Toyota Sequioa too.
