One that will be invalidated by a Hawaii judge for being insensitive to invaders?

Put the time into dismantling the federal court system first.

No

The constitution specifically grants power of the purse to Congress

No but he should trade the wall for a simple change in the immigration law. We should not allow those illegally crossing the border to apply for asylum and make it retroactive.
This Congressional Act won't cost $5B and will be more effective than a wall.

So now we're forced to go by the Constitution.

Someone forgot to tell activists judges and Obama that.

While I fully understand your point, me being a conservative would make me opposed to doing anything outside the constitution even when my party is in power.

This.

I wasn’t ok with Obama pulling his pen-and-a phone shite. I’m not gonna justify it now just because Trump is POTUS.

I understood your post. Perhaps you missed the sarcasm font.

I'm not very good at that so...

As an aside...

I spent 6 years in the Military. The oath that I swore to is still in effect for the most part.
Other than the portion regarding obeying the orders of the president and officers appointed over me.
Since they are no longer appointed over me.

I, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

What does that still mean to me? It means that I will still give my life defending that portion of the oath that still applies if it ever comes to it.

Is it the Orange Man?

Because if it's the Orange Man, the answer is unequivocally NO.

Actually, that basically came up as a question today. President Trump answered that he could declare the border situation a national emergency and build the wall.

So, there's that.

That answer was on the discussion of eminent domain seizure of private owned boarder land. Not liking the idea of any President having that power.

Yes, but it could easily be undone by the next president and we could be stuck with 1/2 a wall for the foreseeable future. Unless he thinks it can be built in 2 years in case this country goes full retard and doesn’t elect him for a 2nd term.

I hope he issues an ominous warning to SCOTUS that if they don’t strike down the executive order for DACA, he will enact his own executive order to build the wall

He should just take the wall out of the Defense Budget. It is for national security after all..
