Exactly. This is my problem with sports where subjective judging determines the winner (gymnastics and figure skating are the 2 major sports where this is the case). The "bluebloods" are consistently given inflated scores, even when they falter. Oklahoma was the benefit of this in both 2016 and 2017.

this is what I tried to tell you people about the football playoff and the committee. We had the best formula with the original BCS but it was blowed up because the media couldn't manipulate it.
