I attended a couple of his rallies and I knew Mexico wasn’t going to Venmo the treasury department.
Most everyone knew that it would be funded by something like this.

Well, I have never attended a rally but I knew the first time he said it what he meant. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
Like someone posted in another thread, paraphrasing, "Do you think Mexico was going to print out a Nascar style check" or a Happy Gilmour check?
Yeah, I understood that he was not being literal. However, renegotiating NAFTA and bringing jobs back easily pays for the wall at Mexico's expense.
That is quite easy to understand if you possess a cognitive thought process.

Would take me a reciprocating saw on one 20 volt charge to cut through that wall. Hahahaha this is their defense against the rapist and murderers... a few 2x4 slats. Hahahahaha no shot how much did we already spend on that? Please tell me we didnt pay more than $20 a foot for that lowes special fence.

Yea that’s fair. Look, whether you support the wall or not it’s all good to me. There’s just no way the masses at those rallies could predict changes to NAFTA or other means were intended when saying Mexico was going to pay for it. Hell, not sure Trump did either at that point in the election
