Okiedokie. So lets say the most consistently successful team that rises to the challenge while under duress which would be illustrated by winning an 8 team playoff with a format that includes:
5 "Power 5" champions will be automatic qualifiers provided they are ranked in the top 10
3 wildcards
The BCS formula would be used to determine them and a "Group of 5" champion will get an auotmatic berth if in the top 10
To appease the people tgat hate the BCS, tge current committee will rank the 8 eligible teams (meeting ONCE to determine top 4).
The top 4 play at home
No "two team restriction" per conference. If a spot opens up due to a weak conference champ not being eligible, and the Pac 12 has 5 teams...so be it.
The semifinals and final will be at neutral sites as currently constructed.
Thats the best I have to offer.
