gimme more on the broth:
Are you taking the thanksgiving and Christmas turkey bones and boiling?
I use a wrench to break the bones to allow more marrow into the broth.....may not be necessary but its not hard to do.
Ive tried the turmeric capsules, fish oil and gluc/condr.
Not sure anything has worked.

Beef: First batch- 5lbs of "soup bone" and 2 lbs of beef shank. 1 gallon cold H20, 1/2 apple cider vinegar (read it's not necessary but I put it in), Parsley/onion/bell pepper/carrot- I will not be doing carrot again, I can't taste it but it dominates the smell.
Simmered on low for 36 hours- super dark and gelatinous. I put 4 tsp pink salt and 2 tsp NoSalt in the batch after I strained.
Poultry: I did keep the stock from Thanksgiving and boilded the turkey carcass in it for 12 hours- that sh** was delicious, better tasting than the beef, but nowhere near the thickness and nutrient content.
I grind fresh tumeric and ginger in 8 oz with pepper. I reheat the fat/tallow into the broth FYI- for tumeric to work and be bioavailable it requires a trifecta for Max absorption: pepper/heat/fat with pepper being the most important- this could be why the tumeric caps don't work. Save your money and buy fresh tumeric root or ground tumeric.
Go on a YouTube binge to research benefits. Most people recommend 2 8oz servings a day for gut and joint health. I usually break my fast with a cup and drink another before bed. Besides the tallow (which is optional) it is extremely low calorie.
