I'm a FPS noob (clearly) and it's already plenty fast haha. Def a higher skill ceiling with with mouse and keyboard but I like the single player campaign primarily anyway.

No, let me tell you something. I'm an FPS noob.

Guess I had the benefit of growing up with M/KB and twin sticks. It can't be that hard to pick up. Give it a shot. If any game will reward you for learning M/KB it will be a game like DOOM.

Edt: You also have the benefit in learning on a non-multiplyer game (unless you choose). So no frustration.

I played controller for over 10+ years exclusively in FPS. I transitioned while playing fortnite in August. Before then I played controller in fortnite since January. I'm already much better than I was and fully comfortable with m/KB. I'm still fairly comfortable with the controller though but fully prefer m/KB.

ETA. Fortnite was probably the hardest game to learn m/KB on. There are so many keybinds.

When I played BLOPs 4 with it, it was a breeze with so little buttons.
