How do you go about getting LSU memorabilia appraised?

I have a 5x1 Panamanic picture from behind homeplate before the 1991 college World Series in old rosenblatte, signed by skip bertman. Just want to know how I’d get that appraised
The picture was taken just before first pitch so the stadium is full and both coaches are meeting at home plate

Depends on the type. Also like anything values fluctuate ....best bet is to talk to a few collectors to get a range. You can email me at my username at gmail and I would be happy to give you opinions based off of what I have seen sell over the past years.

Unless its a little kid getting it, I just get the appeal of autographs.

Its probably worth about the same amount as a 5x1 panoramic picture of the 1991 women's Final Four at the UNO Lakefront Arena, signed by Pat Summitt.

I have a white schutt replica helmet signed by most of the 2007 team. I also had a gold one and sold it for $2500. Honestly the value is what someone is willing to pay for it. A lot of memorabilia has exaggerated prices you will never get for it.

That’s a vague answer, but it is the best answer. LSU collectors are a small group of people.
My wild guess is you could probably in the $125 - $150 range......add another $50 if it is nicely framed.
Post a pic.

I'm in the market for a game used Ivan Nacaratta jersey. It would complete my collection.

I have a friend who ended up with a baseball that was used for the first pitch ever thrown in Alex Box, signed by the entire team/coaches. He turned down 10K cash

If someone wants to frame it and put it in their man cave a few hundred I’d guess they would pay. Maybe more

Pictures are harder to evaluate, usually the value is the signature.
Also a COA is a must for more valuable items.
I bought memorabilia for charity events for about 15 years so I have an idea of value, but honestly if someone really wants something for a collection or man cave they will pay more to display it.

List it on ebay for $750 or best offer. Whatever your best offer is, that's what it is worth.

That’s false.
. Post it locally so actual fans can see it. We should have a board for that since many fans want items for their man cave, home collection or office.
When they would auction for items to actual LSU fans the price goes up significantly.
The actual people that are looking for specific memorabilia usually don’t sit on eBay and wait to find that item. Many items they want are rare and it’s a matter of connecting the seller to the buyer.

I have a full set of kendal cleveland fingernail trimmings. Theyve been in a ziplock bag since 1993. I also have an incomplete set of rohan davy toenail trimmings (missing little toe - but it’s possible he didnt trim those). These have been in an empty altoid can since 2002.

I didn’t read all replies, but I would try to catch the attention of a poster here called “olegreg” or something close to that. He is very knowledgeable. Also, “antique Tiger” may have some insight.
