The FACT is this- LSU won the "game of the century" against Bama on Bama's home field.

LSU's "reward" for winning the game was having to beat UGA and then Alabama again to win the national championship

Bama's "punishment" for losing at home was......NOTHING. All they had to do with SPLIT with LSU to win the title.

So LSU had to go 3-0 vs Bama twice and Georgia ones

The Gumps had to go 1-1 vs LSU.
