They apparently never heard of coincidence. Sometimes tumors simply go away for no known reason.

Could very easily mean "the doctor is baffled". But it's so much fun to belittle the intelligence of believers.

Tumors can grow, remain dormant, or just go away. It is hard to tell how often the latter two occur because there may be no symptoms at all. The head of Oncology at Ochsner said we probably all have some type of cancer, but for most of us our immune system will keep it in check for our lifetime.
