In the southeast, bucks generally have a home range of about 1000 acres. Does are a little smaller and maybe 600 acres.
I really wouldn’t know how to figure out how many deer I have on my place. Half the time I can’t keep up with how many deer I saw in a hunt and if I’m counting the same does over and over. I have 360 acres and I’ve identified 12 rack bucks so far that I’ve seen in person. That number is higher than what I identified on trail cam.
So if my ratio is 2:1 does to bucks, that would put 36 deer using this property. The previous club would shoot on average 9 bucks a year and 4-5 does.
So plenty cover and food and I’d say any place in this region should see similar numbers
