I love RATM as a musical act. Their politics, though, are the typical 90’s “I espouse leftist ideology because it’s the hip, antiestablishment thing to do, but I don’t actually believe any of the stuff I’m saying. I just say it because it makes my dad mad,” garbage. As someone in this thread has already pointed out, they are living the lives of dyed-in-the-wool capitalists, while shouting about how much they love communism. Look past the lies, as Zach himself is fond of saying.
