Flynn did not lie to the FBI about meeting with the Russian Ambassador.

Right. He lied about what he discussed. From Flynn's plea:

quote:

During the interview, FLYNN falsely stated that he did not ask Russia's Ambassador to the United States ("Russian Ambassador") to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia. FLYNN also falsely stated that he did not remember a follow-up conversation in which the Russian Ambassador stated that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result of FLYNN's request. In truth and in fact, however, FLYNN then and there knew that the following had occurred:

Not according to the agents that interviewed him that had recordings of what was discussed.

Honestly, do you believe this is justice?

This is what you want your Ivy League government attorneys spending time on?

So, He was asked about a certain event/conversation and was very truthful, that's why the FBI agents felt he wasn't lying or trying to lie.

Have you ever been asked about an event/conversation from months or year back, remember and discuss it but don't remember every freaking detail? Were you lying or just not remembering everything? Only to have someone else involved (in this case, agents having transcripts) jog your memory? I know I have, plenty of times that I stated I don't recall something only to be proven it did..in this case, FLYNN was in a perjury trap. That's why he pleaded guilty!

Anyone with common sense, sees this as a weak arse case and why he will not get any jail time and most likely thrown out.

Don't let your hate for Trump blur your judgement. If shoe was on the other foot.....

What was the point...end game...justification of him lying? What "crime" was he trying to cover up?
