Without Burrow this team would have won 6 or 7 games at best.

Is he a superstar? Of course not.

Was he a huge upgrade from what we had? Absolutely.

While his “tangibles” aren’t elite, they are good enough.

His “intangibles”, on the other hand, are as good or better than anyone we’ve ever had at QB.

The only thing I think he could stand to drastically improve on is feeling pressure/ avoiding pressure in the pocket.

I love Burrow but the thing that frustrates me is that I think he absolutely COULD be a superstar, but as you said, he definitely was not. If we are to believe the numerous Ohio St posters who visited this site before the season, many of them said the Haskins-Burrow competition was equal, with some even arguing that Burrow should have been the starter. Now fast forward and look at the numbers those two guys put up this year. Haskins threw 47 TD’s! And over 4500 yards. Are we really to believe that Ohio State’s offensive players are THAT much better than what we have? I for one do not. The discrepancy is all about scheme and coaching. Period. Hopefully, Ensminger can figure out how to produce a more high powered offense next year. The only losses on offense are Brumfield, Brosette, and Moreau. There are no more excuses.
