I genuinely enjoy your insight on everything Pels, but you don't always have to be a dick.
See that’s the thing, he does have to. He’s had times where he tries to get away from it, then remembers he lost the only job he cared about and now he has to give free takes on a message board. So he feels the need to act like a dick to make himself look better than us
And I’ve already covered the restaurant thing. Don’t care that he is “majority owner” of some McDonalds or something. That’s not on his own success. His own success is getting a job as a writer, then slowly getting beat down by putting his entire life into writing, but people would only read the first paragraph of his 5000 word articles. None of his stories are appreciated, and the other writers, though less connected and less knowledgeable, do better than him. He blames the ignorant, stupid public. But there’s pressure on him to do better with readers. Either develop a more entertaining writing style, or leave. He acts like his pride made him leave. But the truth is he’s not entertaining, he’s not a good writer. He has all this basketball knowledge, but no way to share it. So he comes to this board, gives his in depth opinion to the people that can absorb it, and shits on anyone that he deems to be of lesser intelligence. The average consumer. The person who left his article after three sentences. The people that cost him the career he worked so hard for

Everyone gets so bothered by Mac. Let it go. He’s actually a damn good writer and is one of the reasons BSS got off the ground if I’m being completely objective.
Sure some of his conjecture is irksome but it’s an act because he likes to troll. If you listen to him on podcasts he’s actually quite the opposite. Stop getting so butthurt everyone and just ignore the jabs and talk basketball.
