If you're in law enforcement, apply for the USMS multi - jurisdictional fugitive task force through your agency. Best way to go. Raise, a car, and kicking down doors to the extent you like that.

I don't know if that's EXACTLY what the rangers would do, but from what I've seen/heard all government agencies with employees in the field basically do the same. It should be noted that I went to college but had zero prior experience in law enforcement. They just need good people with good work ethics, something the current crop of millenials is lacking.
