re: What is your go to cookbook?

For a beginner cook,the Plantation Cookbook is a good gift. Recipes are good exactly as written. It was such a good starter for me. Served many of the recipes many times. I’ve changed the recipes at this point to my liking. I still use the crawfish cardinale recipe except I use more green onions both green and white.
