I don’t disagree that g5 splitting and creating their own championship would be a great idea for the g5 teams, but I doubt it creates much more interest.
Is there any difference between a hypothetical Fresno st/ucf national title game and a North Dakota st/s Dakota st game?
On a national level, ucf gets more attention lobbying for the playoff and beating auburn in a ny6 game.
