Likely not. But, I think the number of people who think that they can do away with second amendment rights and ban firearms is much smaller than you think.
I would be strongly against that, for whatever that's worth.

It took the Soviets over 10 years after seizing power to begin purging the Kulaks, even though they were demonized from the earliest moments of the revolution. During those 10 years, all the Txridders who helped the Bolsheviks seize power were systematically exterminated or sent to labor camps.
