Even though he gets a degree it's still not enough. Just think about all the millions of dollars he helped bring in by performing on the field. He's probably going to need knee replacement on a few years. Just because someone gets a degree doesn't mean they automatically get a good paying job. I am for the players in this situation.

You can't rationalize this with the idiots on Tiger Droppings.

These kids are disposable forms of entertainment for them. They don't care what happens to them. And if the player is injured, so what? Their fault. They knew.

If a player wants to protect his health/wealth, the Rant crucifies them.

how do you pay them??? does the 3rd string te, (83rd schollie on the team) get what devin or greedy get?? the reality is, there are a handful of players on each team that move the needle on creating value for the school. most guys are cogs in the machine. they are offered a free ride, which the avg family would KILL FOR, and they are treated like absolute kings in VIRTUALLY every way while doing it. you really think burrow, guice, greedy, devin, beckham pay for shite when they go out on the town??? by the way, the studs get PLENTY under the table at schools like LSU.

Never ceases to amaze me how many clowns "love" football, but don't give a flying frick about football players.
