I am a big proponent of the idea that if you have a game to play, you should have pride and want to win that game.

However, that is a separate issue from whether or not there should be so many games, in the first place. We've had 5-7 teams make bowl games, because there weren't enough .500 or better teams to fill all of the games.

If you don't see a problem with that, then I can't imagine what else anyone can tell you. Bad teams don't deserve to be rewarded. It has nothing to do with wanting or not wanting to watch football. I don't watch the sausage, egg and cheese bowl, because the teams will be abysmal. That's the point. They need to stop making games that no one is going to watch. Except you, I suppose.

You want me to have a problem with there being football on nearly every night for the next month? That's not going to happen. For some of these teams, getting to 6 wins and bowl eligible is what they play for. Why take that away from them? Again...it's not about you, it's about the players.

Sorry you would rather help your wife clean the base boards than watch two less than desirable teams play. There are a few threads discussing this game, so I'm apparently not the only one watching.
