This animation shows the trajectory that voyager 2 has taken through the solar system since it was launched in 1977.

Voyager turned and took a photo of earth from when it was just over 4 billion miles from earth.

And when they were launched, they had the the equivalent of a TI-86 scientific calculator or just a touch more. What could we do now?
