Now you are changing your story , earlier when we were discussing primitive weapon season you said it was all about herd management, now it is a compromise and preserving an activity, make up your mind

And like I have said previously, I understand that these are the rules, play by them or don’t hunt, and I am fine with that, but don’t think for a second that primitive weapon season is designed to manage the herd size

My lord you are obtuse.

It is a compromise between going full season gun with no primitive weapon and no change with the express purpose of increasing effort and take for herd management purposes.

This was plainly stated by MDWFP at the time as either sex full season was not having enough of an impact or slowing the population explosion.

Not sure where you hunt in MS but we have a deer problem, so bad in fact I can not keep them out of my fields despite electric fences and chemical repellents and it is getting worse year by year.
