I've finished all of the First Law Trilogy recently. I'm working through Dresden Files slowly as well.
For Abercrombie fans, should I just keep going into the next trilogy? I have it downloaded and ready to go, but wasn't sure since it's about previously minor characters.

I'd read the three one off books that take place between the two trilogies first if you haven't already. Many of the main characters in the second trilogy are children of characters in the solo books. Plus the solo books are amazing.

Read the stand-alone books before jumping into the second trilogy. I started the second trilogy without realizing that the stand-alone books existed, and was a little confused on who was who and what their motivations were.
That said, the second trilogy is excellent, and there definitely will be a third trilogy.
