It's the same road, but the "before" pic is taken from a different angle. The beginning of the video in the OP's link has a picture from the same angle as the "after" shot.

The guy and girl in the SUV that were trapped on the ramp walked out, caught a ride with the car behind them to the airport and made their flight.
