My post wasnt directed at you, my bad. However, I strongly disagree. A competitor is a competitor and will be there competing with his teammates until the end. Tomorrow isn't promised for anyone. I was raised much differently. I admire the hell out of individuals like dw. High character guy. Lot of people on this site can't spell character.

As to worth the risk for a ring over a $15m payday. Yeah, sure. By God I lost $15m due to injury, but I got my ring. Ha. Think about that, honestly. It's coming too, watch. If you make the decision to take care of your family in this instance, then a nc brings you zilch...and in fact increases your odds of injury with two games. You can have the j. Russell's of the world, no thanks. Give me dw and all the other projected first rounders electing to play in meaningless games...I'll take that heart and character all day. It was simple with GW, he wanted his money and wanted it now, what's that commercial? He could not wait 30 days to get that agent advance.
