Will LSU dominate UCF ? Will LSU overlook or underestimate them IDK . Auburn overlooked then last year and lost the game by 7 . Hopefully we will not make that mistake. I see on the Rant some UCF fans think they were screwed for not being chosen to the 4 of CFP . Are they even good enough to beat us a 9-3 SEC team ? Please give me your thoughts on the game and why we will win .
Thanks for your thoughts in advance .

I don't think we'll overlook them, but our defense is really depleted and they have a dynamic offense.

We'll have to score a fair amount of points to win this and we have shown that can be very hard for us at times, even against weaker opponents.

No one knows. We will find out January 1st.

Imo though, I can see it going either way honestly. I really don’t know what to expect. It all comes down to our coaching staff and how the defense plays with key starters missing. I’m expecting LSU to try to control the clock offensively from the beginning. Winning TOP and the turnover battle would be huge. Luckily these are 2 things this team is good at. We cannot let our foot off the gas IF we get a big lead either. UCF is a second half team and can score quickly. I’m looking forward to it and hope we can pull it out convincingly.

I see UCF being really excited to prove something to the country. I also see LSU going on and giving a half arse effort and barely pulling out the dub.

35-28 Tigas

If LSU can run the ball with our mediocre backs we should win.

Based on past experience, we will play down to our opponent. It will be a close game and Burrow will either win it on the last drive or throw and interception ending the game.

You all do realize which one of us is ranked in the Top 10 and which isn't, right?

That's a pity ranking.

I agree. They probably should have dropped you further. I mean Citadel was tied at halftime...

We can not come out of this game any better off than we are now but we could be worse off.

According to many posters here, it is a meaningless game for the players and you shouldn't care about watching

Is the LSU team that showed up for the Louisville bowl going to show up for UCF?

Is the LSU team that showed up for the Leprechauns bowl going to show up for UCF?

That's the difference. If LSU shows up motivated and feels disrespected coming into this game, they'll wipe the floor with UCF. UCF's offense will have no answer for the exotic blitzes that Aranda will come up with in the next 3.5 weeks. And against their defense, I feel like Nick, Lanard and Helaire can pile up godly numbers as long as our passing game is legit.

Now if LSU comes out playing tentative and soft, they will lose a shootout game for lack of offensive aggression.
