Who cares if people think a woman got the job because she is a real she? Do the job well and that goes away.
You do know that corporations do hire woman and minorities often not because they are the most qualified, right?

absolutely. for example, they capitalize on written laws that "intend" to give women and minorities an edge at certain government contracts.
the woman who gets appointed to CEO is also capitalizing, right?

This isn't about feeling sorry for women. It's about changing laws to make sure they have a fair shake.
Much of this has already happened, as I've pointed out. The playing field will only continue to equal out, but don't think for a minute that the changing of laws didn't have anything to do with it.
