Trending up? 9-3 with a dubious offense is 'trending up' for LSU? That sounds like the status quo, actually.
Recruiting is the only aspect of the LSU program that is 'trending up.'
Orgeron's hiring decisions on offense -- OC / OL / WR -- are questionable, at best.
I do not see Orgeron making the decisions / moves necessary to get LSU over the hump right now. Worse, I think his decisions are moving LSU further away from being the championship caliber team we all want it to be.

Apparently, Miles' only real flaw was not putting pressure on the media. Had he hired one of the local good ole radio boys to troll the rant and use conflicts of interest regarding his coaching staff's family and "objective" reporter's marriage, he'd have been untouchable with a national title and another attempt for a second.
