I think that was 9-3 with a canceled cupcake. The problem with your comparison is that we lost three disgraceful games. That was a worse season than this one.

We lost this year to Felipe Franks and a team we had never lost to this century, and got shut out at home for the second time by Bama.
Let's not pretend like this year's losses are anything special.

Ark and Old Miss won 18 games combined in 2015. While that doesn’t excuse losing to them, calling those L’s disgraceful is a naive assessment. imo

We lost to
Alabama
10-3 Ole Miss
8-5 Arkansas
Florida is 9-3 and Texans A&M is 8-4.
So maybe we lose to a 10-3 and a 9-4 team.
Maybe we lose to a 9-4 and 8-5 team.
2015 is only worse than this year because of expectations.
End of story.

The SEC is worse now..
and we lost to A&M.
All things equal in terms of amount of losses and a&m being one of those.. blows.. much more..
O is now 1-6 versus Saban, Mullen, Jimbo?
This is the direction we want to be heading? Imagine if Auburn actually ever gets good again, or Arkansas ever decides to be competitive, or Ole Miss learns how to field a defense.
We are not taking advantage of a down SEC. We are not improved one bit.
And he wants to use the word "GREAT?"
This was not a great season. Miami and Auburn were atrocious this season. I was a "good" season.. but I fear that will always be the case. Good enough to get by but never truly compete for championships.

Not only that but they are two completely different starting points. One coach spent 11 years not figuring out how to run an offense among other weaknesses. The other coach is in his 2nd full season attempting to rebuild things.
Why people keep comparing the 2 situations is just dumb
