The truth is Saban hasn’t left because he knows his success is entirely dependent on having a talent margin so overwhelming over his opponents. Is he a good coach? Absolutely—the greatest college coach of all time. But the NFL is a different monster. Would love for him to be out of the college ranks. It’s not even fun anymore.

Additionally the salary cap is the same in the NFL, but not in college. His recruiting/salary cap exceeds everyone else.
