Are "small government conservatives" against leases? Are they against landlords being made to honor those leases?
If there was a "no firearms" clause in the lease, then she is screwed and I have no issues. If there was not, then the landlord and roommates are in the wrong.

Dollars to donuts that the landlord did not follow the legal eviction process, including proper notice and the right to appeal before a court of law.
