So Green/Red and presents were for the Christmas solstice? Get that pagan shite out of here. I know your history is right but in America we celebebrafe Christmas. The “Holidays” and Xmas are an attempt to take out the birth of Christ. If you want celebrate the winter solstice then fine, just don’t take Christmas traditions and call it something else. Come up with your own.

Ancient Celtic peoples revered red- and green-colored holly plants for being evergreen and believed holly was meant to keep Earth beautiful during the dead of winter. So when they and other cultures celebrated the winter solstice, they decorated their homes with holly to bring protection and good luck to their families in the coming year.
Christians are the ones who need to come up with their own. Their whole religion is ripped off.
Red and green for Christmas in modern times is due to coca cola and their marketing. Nothing to do with jesus.
