You're not trying to convince kids Orgeron is as good as Saban by paying him more. You're making it clear that the coach has the support of the administration and that the coach isn't going to be gone after the kid's freshman year.
Believe it or not, some kids like Orgeron more than Saban and Fisher.
You're delusional if you think we're ever getting rid of person without paying him a buyout.

Sure but let’s not frick ourselves in year 2 of a 5 year contract to show recruits who won’t aign before year 3 of the contract is over that he’ll be here 3 years.
