Between Audubon Zoo, Baton Rouge Zoo and the Global Wildlife Center on the northshore, there's really no wow factor left with the animals at AK.

I somewhat agree. The appeal was the food court. The food options were really good and everyone commented on how good everything was. But if they don't update the rooms by the next time we go, we are going to do the updated rooms at Pop Century.
And the walk to the Little Mermaid rooms was rough.

They make ones that have back adjusts that will lay down now.

We still enjoy it, it's always been more of a half day park with HS for us as well. That was before Pandora though, spend a bit more time in there now.
