I think he is milking this situation for attention and $$..
I do think, with all the changing stories, that Hoover will be in some way/shape/form found on the wrong side of this battle.

He absolutely is and his main job is to cause civil unrest for personal gain.

You might be right, but you shouldn't be up in here acting like you know what's going on because you don't.

Bradford was actually trying to help people to safety when he was shot, said his family's attorney, Ben Crump.

Instead of directing this at me, you should direct this at everyone in this thread because not one person has a clue.

Is there no mall camera footage of this? I would think each store has a camera showing its front entrance at the very least.

Could have a whole line of inappropriate, knitted clothing options.

I’m pretty sure there is, but it’s in ALEA’s hands.

Nothing will happen to the cop that fired shots and rightfully so. If the information that has come out to this point is accurate, no sane grand jury (especially not a jury in Alabama) will vote to indict him for running into a mall shooting during Black Friday and confronting a young black male (the same description as the shooting suspect) who is waving his gun around. If the video shows the guy killed ever raised his weapon towards the cop, the case is closed. You cannot MMQB this incident. It is way too chaotic of a situation to reasonable charge a responding officer with murder or even manslaughter.
Hoover PD will probably find a reason to fire him to make the morons go focus on some other city, but he will almost assuredly not be in legal trouble.
None of these shootings are ever racially motivated. Anyone telling you the cops kill these guys because they're black is a lying piece of crap who is trying to push an agenda. Not all shots are good, but the vast majority (>99%) are justified shootings. Those that are not - such as the Walter Scott and Balch Springs shootings - result in prosecution and conviction. Both of those officers are now in prison.
I feel horrible for the young man's family. I cannot imagine having a son shot dead. However, the average rational citizen in this country would view their case in a much better light if they disassociated with idiots who are only using them to push a racial agenda. There are some incredible, good-hearted attorneys out there who will take their case and treat it without a selfish ulterior motive.
This case will also likely be fueled by the fact haven't had a black man shot by a cop in questionable circumstances in a few months, so the racists that I previously mentioned who inject themselves into these cases are likely hungry to blow this up nationally.
If people would realize that the world is ugly and shite happens - regardless of the amount of training and policies in place - we'd have in a much more sane society. Sometimes horrible things happen and while it will never diminish the hurt it causes those who are victim to it, the world has to realize that people are fallible and hanging someone for doing the very best they can at their job is not the answer.
Hell, cops have accidentally shot other cops before. The nature of the work is so chaotic, there will always be horrible incidents that everyone wishes never happened.

Really sad and I'm sure there was a way around it, but I don't think this was intentionally racist.
So it was accidently racist? That's a new one.
No, I definitely don't mean that either.
I'm actually defending the cop and just saying its a sad situation where you could easily see how he could be mistaken.
frick, you people are so hard to have a conversation with.
