I see a lot of tigers bashing Burrow, and the rest of the team/coaches for that matter; but, the kid played his heart out Saturday and we need to give him more credit and appreciation. He did everything he could to put us in a position to win. I love watching him run the ball and bounce back up.

You do?

I think about the least controversial stance one can take is that Burrow is a warrior and without him this team looks a lot worse this year. He took the team on his back Saturday but we came up short. Major props to him for how he played Saturday and really all year.

Played hard and had probably his best game. Really looking forward to his play next year.

Joe Burrow is a tough son of a gun. My hat is off to him. Glad he's a Tiger.

I feel bad for him. He has a ton of talent and he has great football IQ but he's not in a system that does him any favors or makes his reads and throws easy. He is set up to fail in this offense like every quarterback that's ever been here since LSU lost Jimbo Fisher.

Seriously!? For what?! Anyone who isn't satisfied with Burrow's performance Saturday night doesn't deserve to be a Tiger fan!!

I haven’t seen any tigers bash him...maybe I missed that? Any quotes or links? Burrow did more than I thought he would this year - glad we got him 1 more season.

Nope. If it were not for E's offense, Burrow would look like crap

Will someone create an E Appreciation thread

I've been critical as hell of Burrow all year, but there is no doubting his effort.

Biggest problem with offense is the OL. Can't make a hole in the DL to establish the run and can't keep the line in tact for the QB to have time to find an open receiver. Burrow is constantly running for his life.

He needs more leash next year to make plays. He’s smart enough and good enough to open up the offense. Looking forward to seeing how much he improves.

He passed Danny Etling for #8 in the most passing yards in a single season at LSU. Needs 166 more to reach #5.

Not many bashing him before the game, but the pitchfork and torches crowd was out before the game for sure.
