FWIW, I hate this line of thinking from referees. They just assume the perfect video angle will be there to help them decide, but sometimes it's not and you have to let a crap play stand.

I am waiting for a QB to injured for the year after trying to run down an interception going the other way on a play that was obviously an incomplete pass. The ruling on the field carries so much weight that this line of thinking can be dangerous.
