no, i saw a different angle on the news today, view from backfield shows he was knee down when he picked up the ball. the interception called back was the right call.

the angle from the front makes it look like his knee lifted but it was a good call

He didn't do it on purpose. It's a damn play on. Nobody gives there self up like that. Why do u think he threw the fricking thing.

Even if it was technically correct the spirit of the rule is to prevent advancement. Since you blew the call in the first place, letting it go is preferable to reversal.

Agreed. There is a also a still I have seen with the ball in his hand and off the ground with his knee still down.

Not that I disagree, but if the pass was incomplete or a completion for A&M, does the replay booth make the same call?
