The thing with Orgeron....

The last 2 years, we have won 2 games we had no business winning (Auburn last year and Georgia this year) but we lost 2 games we had no business losing (Troy last year and A&M this year). I don’t know how to feel. They kind of cancel eachother out

More negatives than positives. Offense struggles, way too much playing not to lose, doesn’t know when to challenge a play, plays down to his opponents too often. Mishandles certain players (Giles is still seeing the field). Throws his players under the bus in press conferences

Troy last year was just growing pains. Upsets happen and that was a good, motivated troy team. I think that loss helped us down the stretch.
I think there were a ton of suspect, could have gone either way calls in the A&M game, but I do think we were absolutely robbed on 2 plays that should have ended the game, and on the Greedy DPI at the end. BUT, there were plenty of time we could have put that away in regulation. If Giles doesn't muff that punt A&M doesn't get 7 and we likely score with the way things were going. That's a 14 point swing there. Our D showed up and made plays in the 4th to get us the ball back with 2 1/2 minutes left. Why were we running? Our intermediate passing game was working all night and all we needed was a single first down.
shite happens. Always next year. Offense should be improved. Defense should be fricking bananas.

Aren't you the one ban betting (again) that O is bringing in a new OC?

This is what he does
Even in both shortened interim gigs..
This is why I just don’t think LSU is truly going to compete with him. He always plays scared in big games.

What's funny about this? Upsets do happen.
ODU over VT 2018
BYU over Wisconsin 2018
Cuse over Clemson 2017
Troy over LSU 2017
ULM over Bama 2007
Kentucky over LSU 2007
Stanford over USC 2007
App State over Michigan 2007
S Carolina over Alabama 2010
It sucks that it happened to LSU but it did show these players that they aren't invincible. Why do you think Saban preaches that you don't take ANY OPPONENT EVER lightly?
Why do yall think LSU is this godsend of a program that is better than the occasional once in a decade upset?

Upsets happen. But Troy beating LSU upsets are incredibly rare. Most of your list doesn’t fall into that category. Bama to ULM was inexcusable, and that was the first year of a complete rebuild. O had a stacked deck already

I don't know where you are getting this "O had a stacked deck" thing from, but that's false.
I didn't want O. I didn't want Jimbo. I wanted Herman. But the team O got was a very skill-deep roster with very little depth on the trenches. The talent we had was VERY underdeveloped on the offensive side, and the defensive side benefited from being under Aranda for a small amount of time.
I didn't want O but he has brought this team to a 9-3 record holding the offensive line together with tape and gum.
Bama ULM was a monumental upset.
Troy over LSU doesnt even come close to ULM over Bama, App State over Michigan, or even ODU over VT.
I hate to burst the bubble of yall that don't peel your eyes away from SEC ball, but 2017 Troy was a strong G5 football team playing against an average LSU team that had yet to find their identity.

How many players were drafted from LSU last year? How many other schools had 7 or more players drafted?
The answer is 3. That’s a stacked deck
