What happened after? Did the clock run or did A&M have a time out and used it? Otherwise they couldn't stop the clock except for an incomplete pass. The refs either didn't see the eligible formation or just didn't want to call it. That would seem to have been a penalty on A&M and I think there was supposed to be a 10 second run off and end the game.
