That’s just simply not true. He never had possession. It was a mishandled snap.

How many fumbles have you seen blown dead once a player on the ground touches it?

He picked the ball up as his knee was going up. The ball was even moving as he grabbed it. When he has possession of the ball, there is space between his knee and the ground

The announcers and review officials see what they want to see.
